Nick Morrow was 3-for-3 on field goal tries (44, 30, 33) in Saturday’s 36-33 come-from-behind Homecoming win for Grove City College over Westminster College. Megan Schoeneweis totaled seven points on two goals and three assists during Geneva College’s 1-1 week. She had Geneva’s lone score in last Tuesday’s 4-1 setback against Point Park University before registering a goal and three assists in Saturday’s 4-0 PAC-opening win over Bethany College. Nick Morrow’s 46-yard field goal with 8:46 left in the game gave Grove City College a 24-21 lead at Carnegie Mellon University as the Wolverines went on to a 31-21 win. The Moon girls’ soccer team ran the table last year going 26-0-0 en route to a Class 3A WPIAL and PIAA championship. Pitt-Greensburg forward Bri Burgunder totaled three goals and an assist for seven points in the Bobcats three games this past week. Burgunder scored a goal in all three contests, including the game-winning strike in the 2-1 victory at St. Vincent College. Slippery Rock University goalkeeper, Kylie Downs, had quite an impressive week helping The Rock to a 2-0-0 record to begin the year. Downs registered two shutout victories in net totaling 10 saves. In its game on April 21, Moon didn’t score a run against West Allegheny in a 7-0 defeat.
