McKeesport senior Layton Jordan became the latest football player in the Big 56 Conference to earn a Division I scholarship. Seneca Valley put two players on the PIAA Class 4A All-State Volleyball team that was announced with senior Emily Devlin and freshman Sarah White. Fox Chapel will enter the 2017-18 boys basketball season as the defending Section 2-AAAAAA regular season champion. The Foxes compiled a 19-4 overall record and 12-2 mark in the section.
