La Roche’s Joe Professori came up big for La Roche University in the final week of the regular season to help his team secure the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference regular season title and hosting rights for the upcoming postseason tournament. Alumni Update – Pine-Richland’s Thomas Zbezinski
Penn State-Behrend freshman Thomas Zbezinski threw his third complete game in a 10-2 win over Pitt-Bradford on Thursday. He struck out six and allowed two earned runs to improve to 5-1 on the mound. Tyler Woodrow hit .500 (11-for-22) with a pair of home runs, a double and a triple last week for Waynesburg University. He drove in a team-best 10 runs and scored six more.
