Hempfield Outlasts Avon Grove For PIAA Crown In Extra Innings
Hempfield senior pitcher Morgan Ryan tossed her fifth consecutive playoff shutout and blanked Avon Grove, 1-0, in eight innings to help lift the Spartans to their second straight PIAA title. Hempfield Wins Second Straight WPIAL Softball Title
The Hempfield softball team captured its second consecutive WPIAL title with a 2-0 victory over the Baldwin Highlanders on Friday at Cal-U’s Lilly Field. It’s the Spartans fourth overall WPIAL crown.
