The Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State Teams have been released today and there are six WPIAL Quad-A players who have made the list. The Hempfield Spartans used a 12-0 run to open the second half and pulled away from the Fox Chapel Foxes for a 54-44 win in the second round of the PIAA playoffs. Fox Chapel 48, McDowell 36 A strong second quarter and performance at the free-throw line helped the Fox Chapel Foxes oust the McDowell Trojans from the PIAA playoffs.
