Eight Quad-A Players Named To All-State Team

Eight WPIAL players have been selected to the Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State Football Teams. At receiver, North Allegheny’s Elijah Zeise and Mt. Lebanon’s Troy Apke earned All-State laurels.  Zeise, who gave a verbal commitment to Pitt in July, had a career year in 2013 with 49 receptions, 952 yards and nine touchdowns. Apke, a Penn… More »
