North Allegheny

North Allegheny won back-to-back WPIAL Championships in 2020-2021 before falling in the semifinals to Upper St. Clair last season. They have won 11 of their last 12 games. North Allegheny has defeated Pine-Richland (69-56) and Norwin (38-36) to get to the WPIAL Championship game. They are led by Jasmine Timmerson (17.0 ppg).

Upper St. Clair

Upper St. Clair is in the WPIAL Championship for the third consecutive season. They lost to Mt. Lebanon last season and North Allegheny two years ago. They got their revenge on Mt. Lebanon this year beating them twice in the regular season and in the semifinals. They are winners of 15 straight. Upper St. Clair led 6A in scoring averaging 60.3 points per game.They defeated Peters Township (60-43) and Mt. Lebanon (58-33) to get to the WPIAL Championship game. Upper St. Clair is led by Rylee Kalocay (19.6 ppg).
