Woodland Hills remains undefeated with Narrow Win
The Woodland Hills boys basketball team improved to 6-0 with a 61-59 road victory at Hempfield on Friday Night.
The Wolverines was held 15 points under their 76 points per game average by the scrappy Spartans but held on late to go to 3-0 in Section 3-6A. Hempfield falls to 2-5 and 1-2.
Junior Keandre Bowles led Woodland Hills with 14 points. Senior Amante Britt added 13 and junior Olson Nicholson put in 11. Reed Hipps led Hempfield with 25 and Braden Brose added 16.
Woodland Hills will return to action on Wednesday in the Shady Side Academy Holiday Tournament. Hempfield will travel to Greensburg Salem today at 4:30 p.m. for a non-section game.
