CLASS 6A SECTION SERIES WRAP UP

Three Class 6A three-game section series will conclude Thursday with a rubber game and two teams going for sweeps.

Second place will be on the line in Section 1-6A when Seneca Valley (3-3, 1-1) hosts Central Catholic (4-1, 1-1) at 4 p.m.

The Vikings won Monday at SV, 7-6, while the Raiders bounced back Tuesday and won in Russellton, 8-4.

Also in the section, Butler (5-0, 2-0) looks to sweep North Hills (2-5, 0-2) when the two meet for a third time in four days.

The Golden Tornado pounded the Indians by 10 runs in the opener, followed by a one-run triumph at Pullman Park on Tuesday.

Elsewhere in the Section 2, Canon-McMillan (5-1, 1-0) will visit Woodland Hills (2-2, 0-1) at All-American Park in Trafford. The Big Macs will remain alone in first place with another victory over the Wolverines.
