West Allegheny Upsets McKeesport, 65-62
In what turned out to be a nailbiter on Monday night at North Allegheny High School, the 12th-seeded West Allegheny Indians were able to take down the fifth-seeded McKeesport Tigers, 65-62, to advance to the WPIAL Quarterfinals.

The Indians offense got back on track in the third quarter, putting up 21 more points and headed into the fourth quarter leading 48-34. The final stanza was all McKeesport as they outscore West Allegheny 18-8, but it was too little too late, and the Indians escaped with the 65-62 upset win.
Scott Bilivous was on fire Monday night, finishing with a 30 points.
West Allegheny improves to 13-10 overall. Up next for the Indians is a date with Thomas Jefferson on Friday in the WPIAL Quarterfinals at a site and time to be determined.
