USC Girls Basketball Wins South Fayette Tip-Off Tournament
The Upper St. Clair girls basketball started the season by winning the South Fayette Tip-Off Tournament this weekend.
The Panthers defeated Keystone Oaks on Friday night to earn a finals game against host South Fayette. In an exciting game which featured several lead changes, USC held on for a 66-60 overtime victory over the Lions.
Kate Groninger led the Panthers with 19 points, followed by Liv McClelland with 15 and Lindsay Meyer with 11.
The Panthers stand at 2-0 and will be in action again on Monday, December 18th when they travel to Thomas Jefferson.
