Upper St. Clair Girls Soccer Keeps Pace For Section Lead With Win At Bethel Park
The Upper St. Clair girls soccer team continued their winning ways last night by defeating Bethel Park by the score of 4-0 at Bethel Park.
Nikki Gibbons got the Panther offense going by scoring at the 9:06 mark. Jane Madson, Haillee Perri, and Mia Snyder all added goals. Juls Gianni secured the shutout victory and a key section win.
The Panthers improved to 8-3 overall and 7-3 in Section 2-4A. The are currently in sole possession of third place in the section. USC will go for its fifth straight win on Saturday against Baldwin in a section game at 2:30 p.m. It is Youth Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Day at the game.
Bethel Park slips to 6-4-3 overall and 4-4-3 in the section. They are currently out of the playoff picture. They will travel to Canon-McMillan in a big section game on Monday at 8 p.m.
