TIGERS WIN THRILLER OVER NORTH HILLS, 82-79, IN OVERTIME

In a dramatic Section 1-6A opener, the North Allegheny boys’ basketball team earned a hard-fought, 82-79, victory in overtime at North Hills on Friday night.

At the same location where they clinched a playoff berth to end the regular season a year ago, the Tigers dealt the Indians another section loss, this time to start the 2021 campaign.

It was the sixth consecutive win for North Allegheny in the head-to-head series with North Hills.
