Seneca Valley Uses Big Third Quarter To Race Past North Hills
The Seneca Valley boys basketball team outscored North Hills 24-8 in the third quarter, propelling them to a 63-51 Section 1-6A win on Friday Night.
The win improves the Raiders to 4-1 and 1-1, while the Indians drop to 0-6 and 0-3.
North Hills led 33-26 at halftime before Seneca Valley stormed back to take a commanding lead in the third quarter.
Senior David Ritchie paced the Raiders with 21 points. Cam Taylor was the leading scorer for the Indians with 14 points.
Seneca Valley will return to action on Wednesday when they compete in the Shady Side Academy Holiday Tournament. North Hills will face Latrobe in the Hampton Holiday Classic on Wednesday.
