Seneca Valley Baseball Continues To Roll With Win Against Central Catholic

The Seneca Valley baseball team kept pace at the top of the Section 1-6A standings on Tuesday night with a 4-1 win against Central Catholic.

Junior Jon McCullough got the start and picked up the win, pitching five innings, striking out eight and allowing one earned run. Senior Mike Morrone picked up the save with two scoreless innings.

Offensively, seniors Cameron Vozel went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI and Josh McLean hit his fourth home run of the season.

Seneca Valley improves to 8-2 overall and 3-1 in the section. The Raiders will host Butler today, April 17, in a section game at 4 p.m.

Central Catholic drops to 8-4 overall and 1-3 in the section. The Vikings will travel to Allderdice today, April 17, in a section game at 3:30 p.m.
