On senior night, the North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team vanquished the North Hills Indians by a 3-0 decision. The Tigers breezed by the Indians in their section finale by set scores of 25-14, 25-6 and 25-12. The victory caps a perfect run through the Section 1-AAAA schedule with a 10-0 mark.

In another complete team effort, the Tigers posted a .400 hitting efficiency and 14 players tallied digs in a great defensive performance. Senior libero Erin Carmody spearheaded the defensive game with nine digs. Senior Taylor Helkowski and junior Maddy Mueller tallied seven and five digs, respectively.

On offense, senior Kayla Dinkins notched a team-best 10 kills. Avery Tuman and senior Josie Wadlow followed with six kills apiece.

North Allegheny improves to 14-0 overall and 10-0 in Section 1-AAAA. North Hills falls to 1-9 in the section. The Lady Tigers visit Oakland Catholic on Thursday night in a tough non-section matchup.
