McKeesport’s Carlinos Acie Commits to Navy

McKeesport senior Carlinos Acie made the biggest decision of his life on Thursday, announcing his commitment to the United States Naval Academy.

Acie announced his decision via a post on Twitter.

In his senior season, Acie was named Class 5A Big East Conference first-team as a defensive back. He was a part of the Tigers defense that allowed 14.7 points per game.

Acie will be familiar with the triple-option offense that Navy runs, as he was a part of a similar option at McKeesport. In his senior season, he was third on the team with 853 yards on 83 carries and third in touchdowns with nine.
