Lady Hawks soar over the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils

The Bethel Park girls’ varsity basketball team had a convincing Section 3-6A win Monday night against Mt. Lebanon, defeating the Blue Devils 55-36.
Leading the way for the Black Hawks was freshman Olivia Westphal with 24 points and also sophomore Maddie Dziezgowski with 10. Senior Kam Lach and junior Maria Cerro each had nine points. Sophomore Haley Sabol led the Blue Devils with 12 points.
With the win, Bethel Park improves its record to 7-3 and 2-1. Mt. Lebanon drops to 5-7 and 2-1. The Black Hawks will go for their third straight win on Thursday when they travel to Canon-McMillan at 7:30 p.m. The Blue Devils returns to action on Thursday when they host Peters Township at 7:30 p.m.
