Highlands used a big second quarter to jump out to a double digit lead and were able to hold off Plum’s late rally for a 53-50 road section win.

The Golden Rams improve to 10-1 overall and 6-1 in the section.

Sophomore Jimmy Kunst led Highlands with 21 points. Fellow sophomore Chandler Thimons chipped in with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Golden Rams will have a quick turnaround as they face OLSH tomorrow at home in a non-section game. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m.
