Dozens Of Quad-A Players Sign Letters Of Intent

Posted on:

Wednesday, February 5, marked the first day that high school seniors could sign a letter of intent with a college and there were dozens of Quad-A football players who inked their name on the dotted line. Western Pennsylvania continues to deliver top-flight recruits to colleges and amongst the most celebrated in this year’s class are” four-star” recruits Montae Nicholson, Alex Bookser, Mike Grimm and J.J. Cosentino.

Nicholson is a standout receiver/defensive back from Gateway who will attend Michigan State next year.  Bookser is a stout offensive lineman from Mt. Lebanon who will attend the University of Pittsburgh. Joining Bookser on the O-line at Pitt is the burly Grimm out of Bethel Park.  Rounding out the “four-star” recruits is Cosentino, a quarterback from Central Catholic who is headed to Florida State.

The aforementioned players were hardly the only ones to sign letters of intent out of Class AAAA.  Here is a list of some other Quad-A players who have made plans to continue their careers at the collegiate level.
