Defense Leads Baldwin Girls Basketball On The Road
The No. 9 Baldwin (9-7) girls basketball team were down by three entering the fourth quarter, but held No. 8 Penn-Trafford (10-7) to four points in the final eight minutes to come away with a 46-43 win in the Class 6A WPIAL First Round
There was not much scoring in the game, but senior Meghan Dryburgh still had herself a game with a game-high 18 points.
The Fighting Highlanders will travel to No. 1 North Allegheny (21-1) in the WPIAL Quarterfinals on Saturday at noon. The Tigers won the first meeting of the season back on Feb. 13, 57-40.
