Butler, Bowles Record 1,000th Point In Helping Their Teams To Wins
Latrobe senior Bryce Butler and Woodland Hills senior Keandre Bowles both recorded their 1,000th point on Friday night.
Butler did so in a with a 22-point performance in a 87-51 win for the Wildcats against Penn-Trafford. Butler reached the milestone on a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter, and currently stands at exactly 1,000 points.
Just like Butler, Bowles also scored 22 points in Woodland Hills’ 61-56 win at Greensburg Salem. Bowles accomplished the feat in just three years on the varsity team and now stands at 1,004 points.
Latrobe is now 14-2 overall and remains in first place in Section 3-6A with a 7-0 record. The Wildcats will go for their seventh straight win on Tuesday when they travel to Connellsville in a section game at 7:30 p.m.
Woodlands Hills is now 13-3 overall and is in second place in Section 1-5A with a 8-1 record. The Wolverines will play Seneca Valley today at 3 p.m. at Moon in the PBC Hall of Fame Classic.
