In a battle of Section 2-AAAA rivals, Bethel Park and Upper St. Clair girls soccer played to a 1-1 tie on Sept. 13.
The Black Hawks jumped on the board first with a goal from sophomore Megan Mathias.
The Panthers netted the equalizer with 23 minutes remaining in the game to earn the tie.
The teams went to two 10-minute overtimes but neither team could find the back of the net.
“We came together tonight,” Bethel Park coach Melissa Dalbon said. “It was a very physical game. We rallied together and even though we tied, we fought hard and it’s only going to prepare us for our next section match.”
