Alumni Update – McKeesportVanessa Falce
Vanessa Falce hit .714 (10-for-14) in five games last week for the Thiel College, finishing with three doubles, two home runs, nine RBI and six runs scored.
She owned a slugging percentage of 1.357 and an on-base percentage of .733. Falce helped Thiel sweep Geneva College Thursday with a 7-for-8 performance at the plate, posting seven RBI and four runs in the two wins. She hit a grand slam in the fifth inning of game two and also recorded a pair of doubles in the series.
Falce went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a pair of runs scored in Saturday’s doubleheader at Thomas More College. She hit a two-run home run in the first inning of the opener and recorded a double in the second game. She concluded the regular season tied for the third-most RBIs in the league (34) and owned the fifth-highest average in the PAC (.455).
The McKeesport graduate earned Presidents’ Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her performance.
