Alumni Update – Gateway’s Tom Kromka
Tom Kromka averaged 26.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game while shooting 69.0 percent (20 of 29) from the floor last week in a pair of Presidents’ Athletic Conference victories for Saint Vincent College.
He also combined to go 13 of 16 (81.3 percent) from the free-throw line. Kromka netted a career-high 28 points to go along with 10 rebounds in last Wednesday’s 88-75 win at Waynesburg University on Saturday. He finished with 25 points and 14 rebounds in an 83-69 home win over Geneva College.
Kromka currently ranks second among PAC counterparts in points per game (16.9), rebounds per game (8.1), field goal percentage (58.9) and blocked shots (30).
The Gateway graduate was named PAC Player of the Week for his performance.
