Alumni Update – Connellsville’s Ashton Grimm
Former Connellsville girls soccer player Ashton Grimm was awarded as the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week last week.
Grimm had a strong week, totaling seven points over two matches to help the Washington & Jefferson College to a 2-0 record.
She scored once in the Presidents’ 2-0 victory at Kenyon College on Wednesday, which was followed by a two-goal, one-assist performance to help the Presidents to a 4-3 home win over Penn State Behrend on Saturday.
Her five points on Saturday were just one shy of her career high, set last year against Geneva College.
