Alumni Update – Canon-McMillan’s Ian Hess
Ian Hess posted back-to-back three hit games against California University of Pa.
He lifted Gannon University to a 9-7 win with a two-run walk-off homer in game two on Saturday.
Hess finished the week with nine RBI in four games. He walked twice and scored four runs in the four game series.
Hess pushed his batting average this season from .286 to .312 with the four-game series. The three-hit games were the first of his collegiate career.
The Canon-McMillan graduate was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Athlete of the Week for his performance.
