Alumni Update – Baldwin’s Mallory O’Brien
Mallory O’Brien was terrific for Washington & Jefferson College last week, as she guided the Presidents to a 3-0 record. She was at the center of the Red & Black’s offense with a 143 assists (11.92/set).
W&J hit at an impressive .199 clip during the stretch. O’Brien’s week began with 32 assists in a straight-set win over Chatham University Tuesday.
She dished out 55 and 56 assists, respectively, in road wins over Thiel College Thursday (3-1) and Westminster College Saturday (3-2).
O’Brien also helped out defensively with 51 digs (4.25/set). The victory over Westminster brought its 19-match win streak to a halt.
The Baldwin graduate was named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her performance.
