Alumni Update – Baldwin’s Lauren Gilbert
Lauren Gilbert averaged 19.5 points, 2.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals last week for 2-0 Washington & Jefferson College.
She finished with a game-high 27 points in the Presidents’ 82-48 season-opening win over Hiram College on Friday, connecting on 10-of-13 attempts from the field and going 3-for-6 from three-point range.
She also went 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Gilbert shot 59.1 percent from the floor, 41.7 percent from three-point range and 88.9 percent from the free throw line last week.
For her efforts, the Baldwin graduate earned Presidents’ Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
