Alumni Update – Shaler’s AJ Nichols
Penn State-Behrend senior AJ Nichols appeared in three game last week, starting in game one against D’Youville and Mt. Aloysius.
In both starts, Nichols registered a win while pitching complete games. Nichols registered 21 strikeouts on the week, including a season-high 12 against Mt. Aloysius.
She pitched 14.2 innings, giving up just 10 hits and three runs while finishing the week with an ERA of 0.95.
The Shaler graduate was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Pitcher of the Week for her performance.
