Baldwin Girls Basketball Pick Up First Win Of The Season This Week
The Baldwin girls’ basketball team have already played a couple of nail-biters in the early portion of the season.
After coming off a heartbreaking one-point loss at home to South Park, the girls traveled to McKeesport on Tuesday and squeezed out a one-point victory, 50-49.
Senior Abbey Larkin and freshman Anna Lucarelli both drained key buckets in the last minute to secure the victory.
Freshman Lexi Bernotas also added key minutes in her first game back since a head injury.
The Highlanders played their first section game of the season on Thursday, falling at home to Mt. Lebanon, 47-38. Larkin led Baldwin with 17 points.
