Hempfield senior Monica Burns, who scored the 1,000th point of her career last week, netted a game-high 25 points in the loss.

Norwin improves to 9-5 overall and 7-1 in Section 1.  Hempfield falls to 10-6 overall and 6-3 in section play. The Knights host Connellsville on Thursday night while the Spartans play host to Laurel Highlands on Thursday.  Start time for both games is 7:30 pm.
