Seneca Valley Girls Soccer Pads Section Lead With Win At Pine-Richland

The Seneca Valley girls soccer team now has a two-game lead with three more section games to go after its 2-1 win at Pine-Richland on Monday night.

It was also the Raiders sixth straight win.

Scoring for Seneva Valley were seniors Lauren Sileo and Julia Redilla. Redilla’s goal with 15 minutes remaining in regulation broke the tie and proved to be the game-winner.

With the win, Seneca Valley improves to 10-1 overall and 8-1 in Section 1-4A. The Raiders will host Shaler in a section match on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Pine-Richland drops into third place with a 9-3 overall record and 5-3 mark in the section. The Rams will travel to Fox Chapel on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. start time.
