Along with WPIAL champion North Allegheny, Bethel Park holds that other spot. The Black Hawks entered the state playoffs as the No. 4 seed but are one of the final eight teams remaining in the state after a 53-35 walloping of State College at Central Cambria in the second round on Tuesday.

Bethel Park trailed by two after the first quarter when they really started to open the flood gates. They outscored State College 18-9 in the second quarter to take a 28-21 lead at the half.

The Black Hawks continued to open up the lead before finishing off State College in the fourth quarter.
