Pine-Richland’s Jordan Crawford is fresh off of winning a PIAA championship last month. On Thursday, he made a decision to give him the best chance to become a national champion.

Crawford announced via Twitter that he will be continuing his academic and athletic career at the University of Mount Union. The Raiders are a Division III powerhouse that own a record 13 national championships, including this past year.

Crawford earned Big 56 all-conference in the Northern Seven Conference this past year as a multi-purpose back for the undefeated Rams. He was one of the main cogs of an offense that scored a historical 47.2 points per game.

He accumulated 1,815 all-purpose yards and 30 touchdowns. To break it up, he had 1,276 rushing yards and 538 receiving yards.
