Despite losing its first game of the season on Tuesday night, the Seneca Valley Raiders softball team is off to a great start and sits atop the Section 3-AAAA standings with a 6-1 record.  The Raiders have been led this season by outstanding pitcher Nikki Matz who tossed a no-hitter against Fox Chapel in the season opener, and all-section shortstop Alexa Sisko who is amongst the best at her position in Class AAAA.  Seneca Valley reached the WPIAL title game in 2011 as an 11-seed and are hoping to make a return to the championship game this season. We had an opportunity to sit down with Seneca Valley softball coach George Trew and discuss the season and talk about some of his talented players.  Click here to listen.
