Bethel Park Hangs On To Win At Upper St. Clair

In the first section game of 2018, Bethel Park boys basketball hung on to a 66-60 win at Upper St. Clair on Tuesday night.

The Black Hawks built up a 29-22 halftime lead after a 17-8 second quarter.

Senior Justin Meis led Bethel Park with 26 points. Junior Terrance Gensler led the Panthers with 17 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter.

Bethel Park improves to 6-4 and 2-1 in Class 6A Section 2 and will return to action on Friday at Canon-McMillan. Upper St. Clair drops to 5-5 and 1-2 and will look to rebound on Friday when they host Baldwin.
