Alumni Update – Woodland Hills’ Mike Whiteherse
Bethany College’s Mike Whiteherse finished with a 37.7 yard average on six punts in Saturday night’s 22-13 win over Waynesburg University.
The freshman dropped 3 of 6 inside the Yellow Jackets’ 20-yard line and forced fair catches on 4 of 6.
Whiteherse was a tremendous help to the Bisons’ defensive effort, pushing Waynesburg’s average starting field position to their own 25-yard line following his six punts.
The Woodland Hills graduate was named Presidents’ Athletic Conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance.
