Alumni Update – Shaler’s AJ Nichols
Penn State Behrend senior AJ Nichols was named the AMCC Softball Player of the Week.
The Shaler graduate finished the week with a .379 batting average and eight RBIs. She had 11 hits including five doubles and one triple. Nichols had an on-base percentage of .438 for the week, as well as a .621 slugging percentage.
Against Emerson, she had three hits in five at-bats including three RBIs with a .600 batting average. In addition to her work at the plate, Nichols picked up two wins in the circle for the Lions.
