Alumni Update – Peters Township’s Carlee Wickstrom
Carlee Wickstrom hit at a .474 clip, totaled seven RBI and recorded a .789 slugging percentage last week, as California University of Pa. split six games at the PFX Spring Games in Florida.
She also finished with seven runs scored and a .524 on-base percentage while splitting time with starts in the outfield and at third base.
Wickstorm went 4 for 4 with four RBI and four runs scored in a 17-6 run-rule victory against St. Thomas Aquinas on Monday.
The Peters Township product then finished 2 for 3 with a solo homer, three RBI and two runs scored on Wednesday in a 13-1 run-rule win over Post.
Wickstrom later collected a multi-hit game and scored one run in a 5-0 victory against Bemidji State on Thursday.
Wickstrom was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division Athlete of the Week for her performance.
