Alumni Update – Moon’s Kylie Downs
Slippery Rock University goalkeeper, Kylie Downs, had quite an impressive week helping The Rock to a 2-0-0 record to begin the year.
Downs registered two shutout victories in net totaling 10 saves. She made one save in a 1-0 win over No. 22 West Virginia Wesleyan University and recorded nine saves in a 1-0 victory at Kutztown University.
Downs’ shutouts were her 13th and 14th in her career and she ranks third all-time in SRU history in the category.
The Moon graduate was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for her performance.
