Alumni Update – Kiski Area’s Mike Simmons
Mike Simmons helped Saint Vincent College go 3-0 over the holiday break by averaging 17.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist.
He registered a career-high 19 points in the Bearcats two-point win over Westminster College on January 3, knocking down 5 of 7 3-point attempts.
During the three-game stretch, Simmons shot 62.9 percent (17 of 27) from the floor and converted 13 of 19 (68.4 percent) of his 3-point shots.
He averaged 27.7 minutes per game in the three starts.
The Kiski Area graduate was named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his performance.
