Alumni Update – Connellsville’s Jimmy Leichliter
Jimmy Leichliter, a Connellsville graduate, helped guide the Golden Tornadoes to a 3-0 mark last week after averaging 19.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
In a league win at Chatham University last Wednesday, he finished with game highs in both points (20) and rebounds (season-best 12).
It was his third double-double of the season — and second of the week — after posting a 15-point, 11-rebound effort in last Monday’s home win over Franciscan.
For his efforts, Leichliter earned Presidents’ Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
