Alumni Update – Connellsville’s Dakota McWilliams
Pitt-Greensburg senior Dakota McWilliams tossed four innings of relief where he did not allow a single hit, and struck out three.
McWilliams threw two innings at Mount Union and totaled three strikeouts. He played a vital role in the 8-6 victory over Penn State Behrend when he was brought on in the eighth inning with bases loaded and no outs.
McWilliams proceeded to get his first batter to ground into a double play and the next batter to fly out for the final out of the inning. He then sent all three batters down in order in the ninth to earn his first save of the season.
The Connellsville graduate was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Pitcher of the Week for his performance.
