Alumni Update – Baldwin’s Lauren Gilbert
Lauren Gilbert averaged 16.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals last week for the 2-0 Washington & Jefferson College Presidents, converting on 43.5 percent (10 of 23) of her field goal attempts and 50.0 percent (7 of 14) of her 3-point shots.
Gilbert finished with a game-high 26 points in last Wednesday’s 70-56 home win over Saint Vincent College, her second 25-plus point effort of the season.
Gilbert’s 26 points against Saint Vincent came on 8 of 15 shooting, including 7 for 11 from 3-point range.
With her performance, the Baldwin graduate earned Presidents’ Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the second straight week.
