The boys basketball team kicked off its season with a pair of wins, defeating Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic on Friday and Thomas Jefferson on Saturday.

The Highlanders beat North Catholic, 34-28, in a close game, with seniors Mike Goga and Jeremy Jenkins as top scorers.

The Highlander secured a win the next day against Thomas Jefferson with a final score of 70-42. Junior Christian Barr and senior Nick Fiumara led scorers on Saturday night.

Baldwin will hope to keep the winning streak going Tuesday night at home against Chartiers Valley.
